Homework
The grade one students have a variety of activities they can engage in to continue their learning at home. They include-
• Reading their Take Home Readers and answering questions about the story
• Reading their 'read words'
• Putting their 'read words' and spelling words into sentences and illustrating their sentences
• Completing literacy and numeracy activities on our class blog
• Completing tasks on Mathletics
• Discussing the numeracy and literacy concepts we are exploring in class with friends and family members (these can be found on the bog)
It is also important that children have the opportunity to have fun, be children and develop their gross motor skills outside!
